Redesigning and promoting heritage for the future

The Brittany Region chose 2018, the “European Year of Cultural Heritage”, to hold the Les rencontres internationales du patrimoine maritime & littoral, an international event devoted to coastal and maritime heritage, on 1 and 2 October. These two days of conferences and round table discussions aim to bring people together and fuel discussion at the Palais du Grand Large in Saint-Malo. Key issues include safeguarding and passing on tangible and intangible heritage to young generations as well as making sure it can contribute to the attractiveness and the sustainable development of local areas in the future. Thus, this event is a not-to-be-missed meeting for public institutions, associations, and private individuals due to the fact that international speakers will be present. The Brittany Region chose 2018, the “European Year of Cultural Heritage”, to hold the Les rencontres internationales du patrimoine maritime & littoral, an international event devoted to coastal and maritime heritage, on 1 and 2 October.
